I attended the Lakeview Park Beach fireworks on Canada Day for the first time and had fun photographing the fireworks. I would have liked for them to be a bit more spread out instead of straight on top of each other so instead I layered my favourites in Photoshop and blended them together.I used a Canon R5ii camera, RF10-20mm lens, 5-9s, iso 125, f9. Tripod of course and a remote shutter.

This photo was taken to learn long-exposure photography. The first thing that came to my mind was to check the light trail. I went straight to a bridge, where I could get a good view of the enormous light coming through my lens. Put the camera on aperture mode 22, and automatically, the stutter speed count increases to 20 seconds and ends up with a nice light trail of 401.

I met young Miles at Ellis Square while he was doing some rather gymnastic break dancing. Luckily, for me, I was using my Nikon Z7 which allowed me to switch from raw to jpeg giving me 9 frames per second on motor drive. I was shooting aperture preferred and used f/8 the resulting shutter speed was 1/1600 of a second. 9fps sounds fast but I only had 6 nicely composed shots out of 120 exposures.

I had spent the better part of the day moving silently through the edges of the chase looking to photograph deer. It was one of those days that seemed perfect on paper: overcast skies that softened the light, barely a breath of wind, and a camera battery at full charge. But nature is nothing if not humbling. The deer remained ghost-like, unseen despite hours of quiet patience and soft steps.By late afternoon my hopes had dimmed so I began the slow walk back to the car. The path wound through

Engine 9350 is a Diesel/Electric Locomotive which was built in February 2012 by General Electric and produces 4400HP which is capable to propel it to a top speed of 75mph. I love to photograph trains whenever I get a chance. To me they are iconic.
