?This past Father?s Day I went to a family farm cidery with my oldest daughter. The drinks were good, the company was great, but the best part was the farm?s commitment to keeping wild, native plants for pollinators. This little bee found a delicious clover and I got this macro shot.?

This church sits on a hillside overlooking the bay of Rockport. Has a special character for anyone who see it. Dark blue sky, used a pol filter, shot in b/w wanted to have the church to stand out from everything, came off very nice, very happy with it. Was tricky to balance the shadow and highlights.....enjoy

This statue, "Rape of Polyxena", by Pio Fedi, conjures the emotion of the savagery of the moment. This contrasts with the amazing softness of the details of the sculpture. The depression of his fingers into her skin and the way that her perfect body lays in his unrelenting grasp. I loved the way the sun was shining that day producing amazing contrast and shadows.

This morning was not very promising, but still I was determined to get out and take pictures! Headed to Sunny Sands and found these two rocks in the sand that caught my interest. The tide was rising and the sun started glowing in the sky! "Perfect moment", and the a wave caught me by surprise and made my feet soaking wet! Apparently sign of good luck, and maybe so, it's one of my best images and was definitely worth it!
